Sakinah Care is a global maternal health initiative committed to combating the alarming rates of maternal and neonatal mortality worldwide. Beginning its journey in Pakistan, Sakinah Care focuses on ensuring safe childbirth and healthier pregnancies for underprivileged mothers, particularly in rural and underserved areas.
Background
Pakistan’s maternal mortality is 186/100,000 births, driven by bleeding, infections, unsafe abortions, and anemia.
Objectives
By 2026, we aim to support 500,000 Pakistani women with anemia treatment, clean birth kits, and postnatal care.
Impact & Scope
We partner across Pakistan to offer free care, birth kits, and iron injections for safe deliveries and support.
