Dr. Mohammad Riaz, a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics and accomplished neonatologist, brings a profound commitment to maternal and child health. Inspired by his pharmacist father, Dr. Riaz dedicated himself to medicine, graduating with honors and later moving to the United States to further his expertise in pediatrics and neonatology. He founded a patient care society in medical school, organized medical camps for underserved communities, and has been an advocate for reducing neonatal mortality.
As Sakinah Care’s Clinical Advisor, Dr. Riaz provides essential guidance on pediatric and neonatal health programs, ensuring our initiatives are designed to meet the highest standards in clinical care and community impact.

Dr. Anila Khan, a highly experienced internal medicine physician with nearly 30 years in family and adult health, is a proud graduate of Fatimah Jinnah Medical College. She completed her residency at Cook County Hospital in 1995, gaining invaluable expertise in community-based care.
A trusted advocate for women’s health, Dr. Khan combines her medical expertise with personal insight as a mother of four, making her deeply attuned to the needs of families. Her commitment to improving health outcomes aligns with the Sakinah Institute’s mission to empower women through education, support, and access to essential care. Passionate about health equity, she works tirelessly to ensure every family receives the care they deserve.
